Kristopher Kalav, Brewmaster,
Director of Brewing and Quality Assurance.

Kris is dedicated to brewing (and drinking!) the finest beer in the nation. He graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago with degrees in Biology and Chemistry before accepting a position with the University of Chicago in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Cellular Biology. In 1996 he was recruited by the Joseph Huber Brewing Co. to serve as Quality Assurance Manager. In 1997 he added the responsibilities of Assistant Brewmaster and in 2002 became Director of Brewing.

Kris appears frequently on television news programs and radio talk shows to
discuss brewing, beer and soft drinks.
